Who will win Eurovision 2011? Let Google predict
The Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) is something I'm looking forward to every year. It's not really about the music (most of it is not too good - or should I say crappy?) nor the performances, it's about all of Europe coming together for a big party.
Lena Meyer-Landrut from Germany won last year, and that's the reason why the contest will happen in Germany this year, in Düsseldorf to be more precise. But who will win next year?
Google managed to predict the last two winners successfully - by counting the search requests for the songs from the participating countries and distributing points like in the ESC - 12 points for the most requests from one country, 10 for the second, 8 for the third and so on.
Based on that they're trying to predict it again, and it looks like Lena could win once more. Have a look:
We have tickets for the so-called jury final, the final rehearsal on the day before the big final, where the juries of all of the participating countries vote for the best song. I'm really looking forward to that.
